I graduated from Monash University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery, and Fellowed as a GP in 2020. I am a Rural Generalist in Castlemaine, primarily practicing out of the Goldfields Medical Hub.My approach is to build meaningful relationships with my patients, getting to know your priorities for your health care, so together we can build a tailored, evidenced-based plan for wellbeing. I enjoy working with people across the lifespan, from kids and young people, to those focussing on healthy aging.I offer skin checks, 'mole mapping' and excisions. I have an interest in women's health and can perform Mirena (IUD) and Implanon insertions. I also have an interest in LGBTQI health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, and working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.More broadly I work in the community at Castlemaine Hospital, Maryborough Hospital, Tarrengower Prison, and the Bendigo and District Aboriginal Co-operative.In my spare time you will find me around town singing, running, drawing, dancing and generally enjoying all this wonderful community has to offer.
